Gulf Specimen carries sand, sea water, rock, live food and materials to help you maintain your laboratory aquarium. Following are a few of the products available.

513-EQ QUARTZ BEACH SAND -- To give your aquarium a natural setting, that permits maintenance of burrowing organisms, natural, fine white quartz sand is highly recommended. A special aquarium may be set up with 3 inches of beach sand placed on top of the limestone gravel filter. Burrowing organisms will commonly disappear into the sand until food is added, and then emerge with spectacular abruptness. Permits demonstration of various burrowing techniques.
